The Autel MaxiSys Ultra EV is a new generation of EV diagnostics for electric, hybrid, gas, and diesel vehicles. The Ultra EV provides a comprehensive analysis of electric and hybrid vehicles with expanded topology mapping and battery pack analysis that can be performed via OBD or directly with included specialty cables and jumpers.

High Voltage System Diagnosistic—Customize For New Energy Vehicles

The MaxiSys Ultra EV can perform comprehensive diagnostics on new energy vehicles.After establishing communication with the ECU on a new energy vehicle through the VCMI device, the tablet is able to read or clear DTCs, read live data, perform active test,programming, and more. The tablet can perform diagnostics on high voltage system of new energy vehicles through communication with their electronic control system. Based on the diagnostic results, the tablet will provide professional maintenance suggestions to the battery and offer targeted and high-efficient solutions.

Offline Battery Pack Diagnostics

Using the Autel EVDiag Box, Ultra EV is able to establish communication with the vehiclebatteries to perform the Battery Pack Test function.The Battery Pack Test function has a vehicle mode, which enters diagnostic interfacethrough selecting vehicle information. The battery pack data, including SOC/SOH, totalvoltage, total current, pack voltage delta, and temperature can be viewed on this mode.Ultra EV supports the battery pack test of mainstream vehicles such as Tesla, BMW, GM,Audi, BYD, Honda, Toyota, Lexus, etc. The actual function menu may vary amongdifferent vehicles.

Ultra 5 in 1 MaxiFlash VCMI - Four Isolated Channels

Autel MaxiSys Ultra top automotive diagnosis scanner is equipped with MaxiFlash VCMI, a powerful multifunctional connector with Oscilloscope, Waveform Generator, Multimeter, and OBD Communication, functions worth over €2000 on the market. Via the VCMI with New CAN BUS Protocols (latest DOIP & CAN FD BUS) and OE-Diagnostic Protocol Standards (D-PDU/J2534/RP1210), you can use it with the original OE diagnosis scanner for programming.
Oscilloscope：An oscilloscope is a measuring instrument that shows how a signal varies with time in a graphical way.
Multimeter：The multimeter is a multi-function, multi-range measuring instrument. Can perform the multimeter-related functions, such as measuring voltage, current, resistance, frequency, diode, duty cycle, pulse width and continuity test.
Waveform Generator：The signal generator is an instrument that simulates the signals of automotive electronic components.Can perform the waveform generator-related functions, including simulating automotive sensor signals and actuator signals.
OBDII CAN Bus Check：An instrument that detects the communication status of CAN Bus. With this function, you can check whether the control units in vehicle's electronic control systems work properly or not with the indicator light according to the condition of sending out the communication signals.

Ultra TOPOLOGY MAP 2.0

Autel Maxisys Ultra has original factory-level enhanced topology map 2.0 version, which ravel out the communication structure between modules in a tree diagram, fully shows the relationship between the systems in the car. This is a great and convenient function to save time especially for workshops which needs diagnosis many vehicles a day.

A system with identified faults will display in Orange, with the number of faults displayed in the upper-right corner of the system icon. The number of total faults will display on the top. If the system appears Green, it means this system is sound and healthy; if the system appears Blue, it means the system hasn’t been scanned; and if the system appears Gray, it means the system has no response.

EUC Programming: Autel Maxisys Ultra comes with J2534 ECU programming device for BENZ/BMW all chassis,Which is capable of replacing the existing software/firmware in the Electronic Control Units (ECU), programming new Benz/BMW ECUs and fixing software-controlled drivability issues and emission issues, update the computer software on the vehicle to the latest version.

40+ Maintance and Reset Services

Doing regular and routine maintenance on a modern car is impossible without a diagnostic system. Even the simplest procedures require the participation of an auto scanner. That's why Autel engineers have been working on them and making them as user-friendly as possible in the new MaxiSys Ultra. Now you can easily do functions like:

1. Oil Reset: This function allows you to perform reset for the Engine Oil Life system, which calculates an optimal oil life change interval depending on the vehicle driving conditions and climate.The Oil Life Reminder must be reset every time the oil is changed, so the system can calculate when the next oil change is required.
2. EPB: This function has a multitude of usages to maintain the electronic braking system safely and effectively. The applications include deactivating and activating the brake control system, assisting with brake fluid control, opening and closing brake pads, and setting brakes after disc or pad replacement, etc
3. SAS: The SAS(Steering Angle Sensor Calibration) permanently stores the current steering wheel position as the straight-ahead position in the steering angle sensor EEPROM. Therefore, the front wheels and the steering wheel must be set exactly to the straight-ahead position before calibration. In addition, the vehicle identification number is also read from the instrument cluster and stored permanently in the steering angle sensor EEPROM. On successful completion of calibration, the steering angle sensor fault memory is automatically cleared.
4. DPF: The Diesel Particle Filter (DPF) function manages DPF regeneration, DPF component replacement teach-in and DPF teach-in after replacing the engine control unit.

6. Seat Calibration: Calibrate the memory in replaced or repaired seats
7. Airbag Reset: Resets the airbag data to clear the airbag collision fault indicator
