Advanced ECU Coding
Autel MS906 Pro professional auto diagnostic tool comes with advanced ECU coding function. ECU Coding allows you to establish a data link to the electronic control system of the test vehicle via the VCI device for vehicle diagnosis, service or coding. You can operate functional tests, retrieve vehicle diagnostic information such as trouble codes, event codes and live data, and perform ECU coding, for various vehicle control systems, such as engine, transmission, ABS and more. Please not online ECU Coding is mainly for BMW/Audi/Porsche/VW.
Accessing Manufacturer-Specific Codes: Provide access to manufacturer-specific codes, allowing users to perform coding functions that are specific to particular vehicle makes and models. This includes accessing hidden features or customizing various parameters within the ECU.
Enabling/Disabling Vehicle Options: Users can enable or disable specific options or features within a vehicle. For example, they can activate or deactivate functions like auto-locking doors, daytime running lights, or seat belt reminders. This level of customization allows users to tailor their vehicle's behavior according to their preferences.
Performance Tuning: Offer performance tuning capabilities, allowing users to enhance the performance of their vehicles. This includes adjusting engine parameters, such as fuel-to-air ratio, ignition timing, boost pressure, or throttle response. MS906 Pro can Read and Erase Codes on all available vehicle systems,Exceptional OE-Level system coverage for all electronic systems,View Freeze Data and view and graph Live Data, Compatible with U.S., European vehicles, from 1996 to newer 2026.
Read Codes: This function retrieves and displays the DTCs from the vehicle’s control system. The Read Codes screen varies for each vehicle being tested. On some vehicles, freeze frame data can also be retrieved for viewing.
Erase Codes: After reading the retrieved codes from the vehicle and certain repairs have been carried out, you can decide to erase the codes from the vehicle using this function.
Live Data:This function displays the real time PID data from ECU. Displayed data includes analog inputs and outputs, digital inputs and outputs, and system status information broadcast on the vehicle data stream.
36+ Advanced Hot Reset Functions
Autel MS906 Pro bluetooth scanner is loaded with 36+ reset functions for in-depth and comprehensive repairing & maintenance.
Oil Reset - This function allows you to perform reset for the Engine Oil Life system, which calculates an optimal oil life change interval depending on the vehicle driving conditions and climate.The Oil Life Reminder must be reset every time the oil is changed, so the system can calculate when the next oil change is required.
EPB - This function has a multitude of usages to maintain the electronic braking system safely and effectively. The applications include deactivating and activating the brake control system, assisting with brake fluid control, opening and closing brake pads, and setting brakes after disc or pad replacement, etc
SAS - The SAS(Steering Angle Sensor Calibration) permanently stores the current steering wheel position as the straight-ahead position in the steering angle sensor EEPROM. Therefore, the front wheels and the steering wheel must be set exactly to the straight-ahead position before calibration. In addition, the vehicle identification number is also read from the instrument cluster and stored permanently in the steering angle sensor EEPROM. On successful completion of calibration, the steering angle sensor fault memory is automatically cleared.
DPF - The Diesel Particle Filter (DPF) function manages DPF regeneration, DPF component replacement teach-in and DPF teach-in after replacing the engine control unit.
Seat Calibration: Calibrate the memory in replaced or repaired seats
Airbag Reset: Resets the airbag data to clear the airbag collision fault indicator
